Mike and I are search engine maniacs. There is no way around it. We eat, breathe and dream about Google, Yahoo and MSN.

We Skype back and forth all day and night about how we can help small and medium size businesses get the best bang for their buck for their search engine marketing dollars.

Funny thing is, we are the last guys you would think who would be hooked on search engine marketing. Mike was a rugby player in the UK and I played college hockey in the US, although I am Canadian. Not exactly your average SEO profile.

Mike and I met the first time at a search engine workshop several years ago in Toronto, Canada. We didn't talk much. SEM guys are terrified to talk to each other for fear that one might know more about search engine marketing than the other! It's an ego thing.

A year later, we met again in Raleigh, North Carolina at another conference.
This time, we chatted a bit and Mike mentioned he was moving in a couple of months, incredibly just down the street from me. The rest is history. Over the first few months of working together, we were able to identify each other's strengths, allowing us to do what we each of us does best.

I do content. I have trouble getting my email to function properly, never mind building a website. Mike is the site builder. He keeps it simple and clean, just what the search engines ordered!
